CMS incorporates the BIS Master Name Index system which enables facility staff to obtain a complete booking history on all inmates and persons for identification and time saving data entry procedures. Data that has not changed since the previous booking need not be re-entered, instead it can be added to the new booking or admission without destroying the integrity of the old booking record.
orca2000+CMS is fully integrated with other BIS Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) products. In addition, it interfaces to Livescan fingerprint systems as well as to BIS’ photo imaging system (PICS) utilized during the booking process.
